NELBEM - Kenya
NELBEM is a local NGO based in Njoro, Kenya. This idea was born on February 2003 and began operating in March 2005 while first registered as Nelbem-Kenya Self-Help Group (Reg. Number REV/NKU/DSS/SHG/5605) with the Ministry of Social Services of the Government of Kenya.
Right now we are going on with a few activities which the availability of funds have enabled, such as training of local farmers in bee keeping on a small scale. We have also started building a small office for administrative matters, started a tree nursery within the area for reforestation and agro-forest within the location.
